I don't know about you, but I really don't care to see any snow this year. I used to love it, but driving in it is the pits, so I can do without it this year. Smiles!!!

Do you have a little boy's name? I am thinking of drawing a little boy, most likely about the same age as Hannah. I do have a lot of ideas floating around in my head to draw, a little scary. What would be a good name for this little guy? Any suggestions, just post them!

Hannah Fence

Well, it has been a while since I posted or drew anything. I have been feeling a little down, some kind of a Winter funk, I guess. I am so glad the sun finally came out and is starting to melt all of that ICE and snow outside. The temperature should be up into the 40's and 50's this week. All I can say, "What took it so long!" I can't wait for warmer temperatures.

I just couldn't draw anything with snow in it, seen enough of that stuff. So, I decided to draw Hannah in a more of a Springy/Fall setting. Of coarse she has her little boots and sweater on. Hannah should be available at Michelle's sometime soon.

Apple Bench with Tilda

Here is my 3rd card ever. Boy it takes a little time to paint these pictures, either that, or I am just SLOW! Smiles!! The background image is one of my own drawings, called Apple Bench. I have used a little Tilda girl, which I have stamped and cut out. I am really starting to LOVE these little girls, just don't have many. In painting these images, I have used some distrested inks.

Here is the Apple Bench my itself. It can be used alone or with other little people. The stamp will be available later at Michelle's.

I am going to try my luck in a few challenges with the Apple Bench with Tilda.

Good evening! I thought I would try my luck at making my second card. I used a Magnolia stamp and cut her out and place her on the swing. The background image is one of my own drawings. All coloring and shading was done by ink. Isn't she cute sitting there on the swing!! The background image is going to be one of my digital image, that will be available soon. What do you think about digital images? I have been thinking of drawing a few, here and there, more accent images, than anything and put them up here on my blog. I have to figure out the setup for them and the little buttons to add, you know, "Add To Cart", thingy. Plus, I have to figure out the Page Thing on Blogs. What kind of format would you like to have them? Any suggestions!!

One is done, but I have to do some coloring, to show you an example on how it could be used.

Stump with Bench

A little birdie told me that my Stump with Bench will be coming soon to the Pixie Cottage as a stamp. I drew this for a Spring/Summer time stamp, but I think it could be used for Easter also, just add a few little eggs here and there. It should be sized perfect for all of the little people to sit on.

OH, I also heard that some of the Hannah stamps will be coming in as a smaller stamp. I think they will be in a grouping type set.

I would like to introduce April to you. She is my newest character that I have designed. Unlike Hannah, which just LOVES wearing her boots, April will be more of a SHOE kind of girl. SMILES!!! Here is a new drawing of Hannah. She is more in a Winter setting. This is a card that I made for the Toys for Tots Charity Auction that will be starting around November 22nd. . This is my very first card!!! Looks like I need a little more practice. Smiles!!!

This is showing what the inside looks like. That little pine tree is another one of my drawings. Sorry for the quality of photos. My camera does not work, so I had to scan the pictures. By scanning them, it does not show the true colors and it looks like it is showing a LOT of shadows. The white ribbons has a lot of sparkles and the string art is a very shinny silver. I have used Basic Gray Papers, Primas, inks, a little flower soft, Bazzill cardstocks, and of coarse a Hannah drawing, etc.

Hopefully, this drawing of Hannah will soon be made into a stamp and be available at the Pixie Cottage Store.

Toys for Tots Ebay Auction

I wanted to mention I will be hosting an ebay charity auction at the end of the month. (I will provide a link here when the auction is running, target date is Nov 22) It will be an auction with a wide array of holiday cards from numerous artists. I would love to have even more cards to add to the auction, so if any of you are willing to donate, a card that is sized approx. 5.25x4.25 or smaller would be wonderful, I will supply the envelopes. A great gal I know will be making the tin to house all the cards, but I am hoping to have even more than what will fit! All proceeds will benefit Toys for Tots. Here is a new one stamp that is available, that I drew, at the Pixie Cottage. Lots of things to color in this one. It is a larger stamp. The pond kind of wraps partially around the stone wall in back of Hannah. Some of the bottom of picture is not showing, sorry. In the foreground, there is a little pond water, with some glass grasses, that is not showing all the way. I hope you like my newest creation!

Here a little sneak peek of a Window that I designed. It is not available at the Pixie Cottage yet, maybe sometime later. I think this would make a wonderful Christmas card or it could be used for a background drop for one of the little girls or boys. I hope you enjoyed looking at the Window!

FALL is in the air!

Fall is in the air, I really think so. It was only 58 degrees today with a very, very cold rain. Which make the cold seem to go clear through to the bones.

This is a Fall piece that I decided to draw. It is available at the Pixie Cottage store for sale as a stamp. I think it is a pre-order. Pretty cool background piece, just add a few more pumpkins on the other side with a little girl or boy in middle, there you have a wonderful card.

Updating Blogs!

Have you noticed that your "My Blog List" have a problem keeping the newest updates current? Well, I have. It is the pits, not for sure why this does this. The only way I can get them to show current things, is to go into the blog area and click on the edit blogs, save again, and view blog. It seems to work updating to the current favorite blogs, but what a PAIN in the behind this has become.

Anyone have any solutions for this?
