Meet APRIL

Hello everyone!
I would like to introduce April to you. She is my newest character that I have designed. Unlike Hannah, which just LOVES wearing her boots, April will be more of a SHOE kind of girl. SMILES!!! I drew April with a few little hearts, which she could be used for Valentines, First Love, that kind of thing. She should be available at the, The Pixie Cottage as a stamp, sometime later. I just couldn't wait to introduce you to her. I am sure you will be seeing more of Hannah and April soon.

Hannah Bench

 Hannah Bench is available as a stamp under the Pixie Cottage tab in Michelle's Scrap Store. I drew Hannah in a little warmer setting.  I hope you enjoy looking at her! I am currently working on a another background drawing, more of a Spring background, but I guess you could use it as a Summer background, also. I guess, I should get busy working on a Valentine drawing.

Hannah Pines

Another one of my drawings of Hannah. I am calling her Hannah Pines should be available through Michelle's Scrap under The Pixie Cottage Tab this month, maybe this week or next, I think.  I did color her in a card below, my very first card. That will give you a little idea of what she could look like all colored in. I hope you like looking at her!


There should be another Hannah drawing that might be already in, just not listed yet. When it get listed, I will post a picture for you. She is also sitting on a bench, in a little warmer setting. SMILES!!!

Toys for Tots Charity Auction

Check this out girls! It is a wonderful charity auction for the Toys for Tots and 100% of the proceeds goes for this charity. Many different artist have donated handmade cards for the charity. I think they look beautiful!

Hannah & Pines

Here is a new drawing of Hannah. She is more in a Winter setting. This is a card that I made for the Toys for Tots Charity Auction that will be starting around November 22nd. . This is my very first card!!! Looks like I need a little more practice. Smiles!!!


This is showing what the inside looks like. That little pine tree is another one of my drawings. Sorry for the quality of photos. My camera does not work, so I had to scan the pictures. By scanning them, it does not show the true colors and it looks like it is showing a LOT of shadows. The white ribbons has a lot of sparkles and the string art is a very shinny silver. I have used Basic Gray Papers, Primas, inks, a little flower soft, Bazzill cardstocks, and of coarse a Hannah drawing, etc.

Hopefully, this drawing of Hannah will soon be made into a stamp and be available at the Pixie Cottage Store.

Toys for Tots Ebay Auction

I wanted to mention I will be hosting an ebay charity auction at the end of the month. (I will provide a link here when the auction is running, target date is Nov 22) It will be an auction with a wide array of holiday cards from numerous artists. I would love to have even more cards to add to the auction, so if any of you are willing to donate, a card that is sized approx. 5.25x4.25 or smaller would be wonderful, I will supply the envelopes. A great gal I know will be making the tin to house all the cards, but I am hoping to have even more than what will fit! All proceeds will benefit Toys for Tots. Great cause to help out the kids, especially around the holidays. The more the merrier!!! I will be posting my card later this week that will be in this auction. It is a new drawing with Hannah in it and YEP, I painted/colored it. SMILES!!!! It is my first painted/colored card, so don't laugh!!!

SUGGESTIONS FOR HANNAH

I have an idea! Sometimes that happens!! LOL!! It has to do with Hannah. I have been thinking of a setting for Hannah. Got any suggestions? I would like to hear them. Maybe I can draw them, maybe not. What would you like to see in the future? Put your thinking caps on girls!!! Post them if you can.

Hannah at the pond!

Here is a new one stamp that is available, that I drew, at the Pixie Cottage. Lots of things to color in this one. It is a larger stamp. The pond kind of wraps partially around the stone wall in back of Hannah. Some of the bottom of picture is not showing, sorry. In the foreground, there is a little pond water, with some glass grasses, that is not showing all the way. I hope you like my newest creation!

Ornery Kitten Stamp

Yippie! I had no idea this one was done already and made into a stamp! I just loved drawing this kitty. The picture I am showing is not the best, but close. It is available at the Pixie Cottage. Window

Here a little sneak peek of a Window that I designed. It is not available at the Pixie Cottage yet, maybe sometime later. I think this would make a wonderful Christmas card or it could be used for a background drop for one of the little girls or boys. I hope you enjoyed looking at the Window!

Hannah is at it again!

FALL is in the air!

Fall is in the air, I really think so. It was only 58 degrees today with a very, very cold rain. Which make the cold seem to go clear through to the bones.

This is a Fall piece that I decided to draw. It is available at the Pixie Cottage store for sale as a stamp. I think it is a pre-order. Pretty cool background piece, just add a few more pumpkins on the other side with a little girl or boy in middle, there you have a wonderful card.

Updating Blogs!

Have you noticed that your "My Blog List" have a problem keeping the newest updates current? Well, I have. It is the pits, not for sure why this does this. The only way I can get them to show current things, is to go into the blog area and click on the edit blogs, save again, and view blog. It seems to work updating to the current favorite blogs, but what a PAIN in the behind this has become.

Anyone have any solutions for this?

Lookie what is in the Pixie Cottage Store for pre-order. I absolutely LOVE, LOVE the way this turned out. It might be one of my favorites. I totally amazed myself. I keep thinking to myself, I drew this! I wonder what is NEXT!

The time is getting near for the new design team members to be announced on the Pixie Cottage Blog. Are you ready ladies? This going to be soooooo exciting!!!
